I am not a career politician. I am an entrepreneur, community builder, and founder who has spent years creating programs, supporting families, building organizations, and bringing people together around practical solutions.
Since making Ward 10 my home, I have been listening closely to residents and learning more about the issues affecting everyday life in Stoney Creek, including development, traffic, infrastructure, transit, and whether residents feel heard in the decisions that shape their communities.
I believe Ward 10 has tremendous potential. I put my name on the ballot because I want to help protect what residents value, address the issues that have been overlooked, and work toward responsible growth that improves people’s quality of life.
As Founder and Executive Director of Solid Rock Family Services, founder of CLASSIC, and a leadership coach and consultant, I have built teams, managed budgets, developed partnerships, and turned ideas into action.
I am bringing that same commitment, discipline, and people-first approach to the ward I now call home.

THE PLATFORM
The Priorities Taking Shape
As I continue listening, learning, and looking closely at the issues shaping Ward 10, several priorities are beginning to stand out.
Ward 10 is growing, and that growth brings important questions about housing, roads, infrastructure, local businesses, green space, and the kind of community residents want to protect and build for the future.
These priorities are informed by early conversations with residents and by my ongoing research into the needs of Stoney Creek, Fruitland, and Winona. They will continue to be shaped by the voices of residents, families, seniors, local business owners, community groups, and others who care deeply about the future of Ward 10.
Responsible Growth & Infrastructure
Ward 10 is growing, and growth must be properly planned and supported. New housing and development should be accompanied by the roads, drainage, transit, parks, public services, and other infrastructure residents rely on.
- Advocate for infrastructure planning that keeps pace with growth
- Push for early, meaningful, and transparent public consultation
- Promote clear reporting on development charges and community benefits
- Protect green spaces, the waterfront, and established neighbourhoods
- Support responsible housing growth that considers infrastructure capacity and quality of life
Roads, Traffic & Safe Movement
Residents should be able to move through Ward 10 safely and efficiently, whether they are driving, walking, cycling, or using public transit.
- Improve traffic flow and address congestion in growing areas
- Advocate for safer intersections, residential streets, and school zones
- Support practical traffic-calming measures based on evidence and resident input
- Improve sidewalks, crossings, transit connections, and pedestrian accessibility
- Support connected and appropriate active-transportation options where they make sense
Safe and Well-Maintained Neighbourhoods
Community safety includes responsive emergency services, well-maintained public spaces, effective bylaw enforcement, appropriate lighting, and neighbourhoods where residents feel supported.
- Push for timely and consistent bylaw and property-standards enforcement
- Support fire prevention, public education, and emergency preparedness
- Improve lighting and visibility in public spaces
- Advocate for clean, accessible, and well-maintained parks and neighbourhood spaces
- Encourage preventive and community-based approaches to safety
Value for Taxes and Financial Accountability
Residents deserve to understand how City money is being spent, what results it is producing, and whether Ward 10’s needs are being properly reflected in City priorities.
- Provide clear updates on major projects and investments affecting Ward 10
- Review spending decisions with a focus on value, affordability, and measurable results
- Advocate for transparent reporting on development charges and community benefits
- Push for infrastructure investment that reflects growth, condition, and community need
- Create opportunities for residents to understand and provide input on City budget priorities

Honouring the Land We Share
Land Acknowledgement
The City of Hamilton is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes.
We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
Today, the City of Hamilton is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, also known as North America. We recognize that we must continue learning about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our responsibilities as residents, neighbours, partners and caretakers.
As a candidate for Hamilton City Council, I believe this acknowledgement must be reflected in how we listen, build relationships and make decisions. I am committed to approaching municipal leadership with respect for Indigenous history, voices and the shared responsibility to care for our land and community.
